KS2 AI VOCABULARY​

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
A computer’s way of acting smart, like learning or solving problems.

Machine Learning
When a computer gets better at something by practicing and learning from examples.

Data
Information that we can use to learn or make decisions.

Algorithm
A set of steps a computer follows to solve a problem or do a task.

Creativity
Using your imagination to make something new or solve a problem.

Programming
Telling a computer what to do by giving it instructions.

Code
The special words and symbols we use to write instructions for computers.

Interactive
When you can do something with a computer, like clicking, typing, or touching it.

Debugging
Fixing mistakes in the instructions (code) you give to a computer.

Predict
Guessing what might happen next using clues or information.

Input
The information or actions we give to a computer, like typing or clicking.

Output
What a computer shows us, like pictures, sounds, or answers.

Collaboration
Working together with others to do something.

Digital Citizenship
Being kind, safe, and responsible when using computers and the internet.

Ethics
Knowing what is right or wrong and making good choices.

Neural Network
A computer system that tries to work like a brain to solve problems.

Predictive Analytics
Using information to guess what might happen in the future.

Automation
When machines or computers do a job by themselves.

Sustainability
Taking care of the Earth so everything can last a long time.
